The EMPA’s Summer Executive Leadership Series currently only accepts online credit card payment. We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa. The online credit card payment will be processed by CyberSource Corporation. Payments in cash or by check will not be accepted.
All payments must be made in full on or before the stipulated payment deadline date for each EMPA workshop, which is one day prior to the first session. By registering for any EMPA workshop you affirm that you understand the policies stipulated above, and you agree to abide by them.
A full (100%) registration fee refund may be granted provided that the participant submits a written refund request and such request is received by the EMPA Program Coordinator at least one (1) week prior to the first day of the workshop for which the participant is enrolled.
All refunds, full or partial, may be subject to a $10 processing fee. There is no refund for absenteeism or cancellation made on the day of a workshop.
If a workshop is canceled by the department due to weather or circumstances beyond our control all participants will be notified accordingly and will receive a full (100%) refund that is not subject to a processing fee. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

Simply stated, we do not collect personal information about you when you visit the EMPA website or any of our affiliated websites unless you choose to make such information available to us.
When you visit the EMPA site, the University's web server automatically recognizes only the Internet domain and IP address from which you accessed the site. This information does not result in the identification of your personal e-mail address or other personal information.
In addition, information is only gathered regarding the volume and timing of access to the site by collecting information on the date, time and pages you visited while at the site. This is done so that the content of the site can be improved, and your personal information is not identified or shared with other organizations.
If you choose to share personal information with us, such as by subscribing to an e-newsletter, sending a message, or filling out an electronic form with personal information, the information will be saved for a designated period of time in order to comply with the state of Florida's archiving policies. However, information will not be disclosed to third parties or other government agencies, unless required by state or federal law. Please note that Florida's public records law requires that all information received in connection with state business be made available to anyone upon request unless the information is subject to a specific statutory exemption.
When you submit payment information (e.g., credit card number and billing address,) the EMPA uses CyberSource, a third party provider of commerce processing service to receive the payments.
